Mini Racing Association Fun Day Taupo 2003 anyone with picture and an article for 2004 please get in touch with the Web Amateur! Every year the Mini Racing Association hold a fun day at Taupo race track. The Mini 7 & Super Mini boys and girls get together for their annual prize giving, and as a bonus hire the Taupo race track for the day and invite us all along! For a modest fee, you can have your choice of belting yourself into the seat of a Mini race car and being taken out for a blast,or you can go out in your own car. The usually safety rules apply of course and your car, helmet and Overalls will be scrutinered for safety. But all in all a great day is had by all. Last year, 2003, I took my 2000 Rover Cooper S "Maggie" out for a bit of fun, which went well until Tony Maulder in his Supercharged BINI decided to pass me...most humbling. Love or loath them I have to admit they are quick! Anyway you want pictures not words....
